2M Transformation Services was selected by the US Department of Transportation to assess the applicability of edge computing to better enable Roadway Digital Infrastructure. Our work focuses on the feasibility of integrating edge computing applications and supporting technologies that process large amounts of real-time data at or near to the data source.
We are developing a data architecture that may be adapted by Departments of Transportation to form the basis of a unified National data strategy leveraging readily available modern edge-based technologies.
The architecture will liberate data from siloed systems and make it easier for automated processes to generate information and distribute it to anyone who needs it, when they need it. 2M Transforms.
